Garnier BB Cream

Aside

So today my I had a casting with a booker from a NY agency. Just my luck when the corner of my mouth started to crack. ARGH. Apparently it is due to a vitamin B deficiency, but I did some research and that is one of the factors. Everything bad has just happened in the past 2 weeks. Anyway, enough of my whinging. I thought I lost my Garnier tinted roller so I headed to the supermarket and saw the Garnier BB Cream:Image

I have read mixed reviews about it. I have used an Asian BB cream (brought one at SaSa in HK), so I can be the judge of it is the real deal or not. So here is the situation today:

After: No photoshopping! Only changed the colour filter of the photo because I thought it was boring!

Uh yeah, it created a flawless coverage. I really liked it. At least it had a colour range not like the BB cream I got from HK; it made me look like a ghost.

This Garnier cream had a smooth consistency and it didn’t feel heavy like a foundation. It gave a moderate coverage to even out your skin tone. One thing I didn’t mention was that I applied that Garnier tinted roller on the massive unsightly creature to give it more coverage. But holy shit, if you are just wanting to cover up redness and any flaws, this works really well. Plus if you have dry skin, this is “AMOIZING”

It has a Vitamin C derivative infused in it so it does give your skin that glow. One thing to mention it has an awful lot of chemicals in this product. It has perfume, and Benzyl Salicylate which has been known to cause some allergic reactions.

I have sensitive skin, and didn’t experience any reaction from it. Some people say there is a funny smell to it, but to me it’s just the perfume they have in there: doesn’t bother me. So moral of the story, I rate this BB cream. Though critics argue “Oh it’s just targeted at the White market” and “Ugh, so not as good as what the Asians can do”…. Shaddap! STFU. Finally I can use that acronym for something. I always thought it meant STUFF U. I like this cream and at least they have colour ranges for it (though not for dark skin tones :-{ ) If you are not wanting to spend a fortune on a tinted moisturiser and need a quick fix, yes I do reccomend this product. Why would you want to cake your face till your skin can’t breath with foundation? So here’s a photo of someone who you shouldn’t try to look like ever:

I rest my case.
